Do you long to experience your life with more clarity and more kindness?

Do you wonder what it takes to truly care for yourself and others in the wild flow of your modern world?

If you could - would you cast a spell that radically transforms the ordinary to the miraculous?

Welcome to the Bodhisattva Vows

A time-tested guidebook that, when practiced well, empower each of us to think, speak and act with deeper love for ourselves and others.

In this course, we will learn the vows and explore simple, effective ways you might apply them. Not because, "It's the right thing to do," but because doing so will create the world of your dreams.

We will offer space and guidance to examine what you wish to "improve upon" or “clean up” in relationship to yourself and others.

We will practice meditations, creative play and reflection that will allow you to open your heart and wake up your desire.

Together, we will collectively examine and define how we wish to act (with a traditional Buddhist blueprint) to grow compassionate action in modern life. Join us.

FAQs

  • Do I need to attend all classes live?

No. While we certainly prefer your presence because...yay real humans in real time, we understand emergencies and the shifting nature of modern life. Recordings will be available within 48 hrs for your convenience.

  • Can I drop into a class or two?

This course is offered as a series, rather than as individual classes. Sign up for the whole thing and take it on your pace with recordings & supplemental materials.

  • Is this for Buddhists who want to take Bodhisattva vows?

No. This course is not about building a formal relationship to a Buddhist lineage. That said, this is an EXCELLENT preparatory class for those of you who are planning or considering taking vows with a formal teacher.

  • Is this for beginner or for advanced practitioners?

This is an all levels welcome course. As with many philosophical/ psychological/ spiritual teaching, it is a value to be a beginner and bring a beginner’s mind. Above all, we value diversity of perspective & style- if you’re curious or wishing to learn more, you are likely at the perfect level for this course.

  • What if I'm not a Buddhist and I've never studied Buddhism?

That’s welcome! One of the raddest things about the Bodhisattva Vows is that they're part of the open, Sutra teachings. Available to everyone, taught even to those who don’t intend to take them (though you may want to by the end of our time together :). Buddhism is great at lists and guidelines - these vows will give a deeper nuance to ethical teachings across any religious, personal, or philosophical traditions you hold. We will enjoy you bringing your non-Buddhist lens to our community!

We Hope You'll Join Us.
